Stuart v. Vilsack
The case involves representation of a former employee of the United States Department of Agriculture in a disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, and Privacy Act lawsuit. A copy of the complaint is available here. The Court allowed Ms. Stuart to amend her complaint to include a Back Pay Act claim. A copy of the Amended Complaint is available here. On November 23, 2016, the Federal District Court partly denied the U.S. Government’s Motion for Summary Judgment Dismissal of Ms. Stuart’s lawsuit. A copy of Ms. Stuart’s summary judgment Response Brief is available as is the Court’s Summary Judgment Order. On January 20, 2017, the USDA agreed to settle Ms. Stuart’s claim for $305,000.00.
