Osmanski v. Cathay Pacific Airways, LTD
The case involves U.S. Navy Reserve F/A 18 pilot Joshu Osmanski asserting USERRA employment discrimination, retaliation, and benefits claims against his former employer, Cathay Pacific Airways. Cathay Pacific produced documents in the case which revealed that Cathay used Mr. Osmanski’s military obligations as a reason to fire him. Copies of Mr. Osmanski’s Motion to Amend his complaint to include that information and name Dave Lomax, Mr. Osmanski’s former Cathay supervisor, as an individual defendant is available here. A copy of the documents produced by Cathay are available here. The case resolved shortly after Mr. Osmanski asked the Court to name Dave Lomax as an individual defendant in the lawsuit.
